Why certificates are not a public download A certificate carries the approval number, the manufacturer details and the exact variant set for a type. Published as a loose file it becomes stale the moment a variant is added, and a buyer who downloads last year’s version has a document that no longer matches the vehicle. Sending it against a named request keeps it correct.
What a spec sheet contains #
- Category, and what the category means for the licence in your market.
- Values that are certified, marked with the certificate field number.
- Values that are supplier declarations, marked as such.
- Fields we cannot complete, left out rather than filled with a placeholder.
