The checks that decide whether it registers

Most failures at a registration office are not mechanical. They are a tyre size, a seat count, a plate, a VIN or a missing document. Those are the things we check, photograph and file before the vehicle leaves.

Photographic evidence #

Every unit is photographed at the points a registration office inspects: VIN stamping, statutory plate, tyre sidewall, seat configuration, and the four sides of the vehicle. The photographs are filed against the VIN and sent with the documents, so a query can be answered without waiting for a factory reply.

What we cannot inspect We are a supplier, not the manufacturer. We cannot issue a certificate, change a certified value, or certify a vehicle the approval does not cover. When a request falls outside the approved type, the answer is no — and it is better to hear that before the order than at the port.

If something is wrong on arrival #

  1. Send photographs and the VIN. We identify which manufacturing system the vehicle came from.
  2. For a parts issue, we quote the part against that system and ship it; consumables and body panels are usually in stock with the manufacturer.
  3. For a document issue, we correct the file with the certificate holder and reissue the paperwork.
  4. For a damage claim, the carrier process runs alongside; photographs taken at unloading decide the outcome.

Ask what the file will contain

Before you order, ask us to list the documents that will arrive with the vehicle. We will send the list.
