Straight answers

The questions that come up before a first order, answered without the sales gloss. Where the answer depends on your market, it says so.

What is the minimum order?

One unit. This is not a promotional line — it is possible because we buy across four manufacturers rather than running a line. The one-unit price is higher per unit than a container price, and freight per unit will dominate the landed cost.

Can you put my brand on the vehicle?

On the nameplate, where the plate still matches the manufacturer named on the certificate of conformity. At no extra charge. What we cannot do is change the manufacturer on the certificate; only the approval holder can, and it means a new approval. See OEM / ODM for the four levels.

Do you have CE marking on these vehicles?

No, and neither should anyone else. L-category vehicles are type-approved under Reg. (EU) 168/2013 and come with a certificate of conformity; CE marking applies to a different set of directives and is not the route for a whole-vehicle approval. A seller offering "CE certified" L-category vehicles is describing the wrong regime.

Is "EEC approved" the same thing?

No. EEC type-approval is the pre-1993 name; the current framework is EU approval under 168/2013. The phrase survives in trade listings because it sounds official. Ask for the approval number and the issuing authority instead.

Which licence does my customer need?

It follows from the category: L2e and L6e usually sit on an AM licence from 16; L5e-A on an A1 from 16 up to 15 kW; L7e on a B1 from 16 or a full B from 18 in most member states. National rules vary — confirm with the local authority before you promise it to a customer.

Can you limit the speed so it falls into a lower category?

Limiting speed does not move a vehicle down a category on its own. Power and mass are also limits. A three-wheel passenger vehicle rated above 4 kW stays in L5e even if limited to 45 km/h, so the limiter costs performance and buys nothing.

How long from order to shipment?

Depends on the configuration and the manufacturer. Colours and battery options that are already in a build cycle move faster. We give a dated estimate with the quotation, and we tell you when it moves.

What Incoterms do you quote?

EXW, FOB or CIF. Prices exclude VAT and destination charges. For a first order, FOB is usually the clearest: you see the freight cost separately instead of inside a landed price.

What if the vehicle does not match the certificate on arrival?

Send photographs and the VIN. If we shipped the wrong configuration, we correct it. If a part was substituted in transit or at a dealer, we identify the part against the right system and quote it. What we cannot do is certify a vehicle the approval does not cover — which is why we check the six items on quality before the container closes.

Do you supply spare parts?

Yes, identified against the manufacturing system for the VIN. Consumables and body panels are usually held by the manufacturer; motors and controllers are model-specific. Expect one to two business days for a quotation.

Who is your EU responsible person?

Synertrade FR SAS, Lyon, France — named with address and contact on every model page. That is the address a market surveillance authority or a customs officer uses.

Do you sell to private individuals?

We sell business to business: dealers, fleet operators, converters and importers. A single unit is fine, but the buyer is expected to handle registration in their own market, with our documents.
