Rural and municipal demand #
Cargo quadricycles do well in agricultural and municipal use: short trips, low speeds, predictable routes, and a driver who already holds a B licence. The load rating matters more than the range, and the tyre sizes need to be available locally.
Documents a Spanish registration file needs #
- Certificate of conformity
- Issued per vehicle by the type-approval holder, in the language your registration office accepts.
- Commercial invoice
- Exporter and importer named, VIN listed, Incoterm stated.
- Customs declaration
- Import entry with the vehicle category code used by your authority.
- VIN confirmation
- The plate and the stamped VIN must match the certificate — we photograph both before shipment.
- EU responsible person details
- Name, postal address and email inside the EU, for market surveillance and for the registration file.
Parts availability is a Spanish buying criterion Ask which of the tyre sizes on the certificate are stocked locally before you commit. A cargo quadricycle stranded for a week over an odd tyre size is a lost customer, whatever the invoice said.
Where Spanish files usually stall #
- Inspection finding a lighting or brake component that differs from the approved type.
- A cargo box fitted after approval, changing the body style on the certificate.
- Documentation in English where the office requires Spanish.
